I come from Cameroun, from the forest of Ebolowa. I only saw white man on TV once in a while, but never for real. When I arrived in the Netherlands, I was shoked that there were sooo muche people with an other color and the SNOW! oooh my got. I had no shoes on, i like the images they show on TV. It was sooo cold in Holland!
My first real SHOCK when i was discriminated by a my own kind and asians. Only the white protected me and accepted me..
It can be a horrible place to live, there are so many rules and laws. And everything is so expensive. You need a lot of money before you can make any money... which is what makes it hard to make it big when you start at the bottom. Not to mention the difficulties of being here illegally. I don't like these things, even though there are lots of things I do like about the netherlands.I did not know of the discrimination even by those people.
