I travel to America in 2002, And was enrolled to s school in Los nageles as an F-1 student in a progran ESL ( English Second Language).
In few weeks, I saw the police or FBI agent stop me well I was making a call to my uncle; they inform me that I am under arrest because they was looking for me for long time ago but now they found me. yes! after 1 weeks to be in America well I live in Africa for 28 years and never policeman stop me for any criminal activity.In europe for 9 years and never policeman stop me too. so I decide to know for what? but they never tell and I inform them that they are making a mistake but the man insiste by showing me a "portrait Robot" not a picture! so I gave him my student Identification since I did not have my California Identification card, so they call my university and found out that I was saying the truth! so why? the man insiste! of course! I was black. few month later, I was involved in an accident with my bike, and lost my passports, I make a report to the police and travel to Houston, Texas to get a new passports. when I come back to Los angeles, I have to make another I-94 that I lost with my passport! so I send to the US immigration my new passport + my old passport copy+ my old I-94 copy + my I-102 Application for replacement of my I-94. after several months! I underlign several months, waiting! they sent it over to me and transpose my name; this was not a mistake because my vocational was Business and Administration...
so I know that something was wrong! so I wait , wait! and my I-94 never come back! this happen in 2005, so How I-94 is very important? it a key documents for an F-1 student to apply for works on campus to have a Social Security Number, its a key to renew your identification or driver license, its a key to apply for a work permis off campus and without a Scocial Security number you can not apply for rent an appartment. so I was unable to work on campus, to rent an appartment so my uncle was not able to support me at 100%, I never pass hardship time like this in my life! so I travel to ohio because I got a traffic ticket that was also given to me well I did nothing wrong, now they asked me to paid 300.00 dollars, my rent was 300 dollars and my tuition 200.00 my book 100.00 dollars and I could not work on campus or off campus! so I travel to Ohio to seeing help from my cousin! normally in the laws where I am out of state they can not drop me off! one month ! after I come back and was looking to paid my tuition but my principal or counseling refuse to get my money and tell me that I am not welcome anymore to studying with them! my record paper that I still had in record was excellent and I was a best student who was always present in the class! so she gave me some paper to re-instate to another university mean transfer... but the new university asked me my i-94 not the copy but the original and my status was still in good standing, so I contact again the US immigration for my I-94 original correction, they never answer me correctly. in 2007 I fail without status! but believe me ...
I suffer a lot! than my traffic ticket become 945.00 something! its not crazy! so I got help from a friend to appear in court, the judge obligate me to plaid gulty because I show him that the name on the notice and the name on my passpirt or identification was dismatch and could not make me paid that amount. so they give me a community service if I plaid gulty but ask me to paid 345 dollars something by doing community service of course.
well I did my community service and never receive my I-94, so I lost my driver license, my identification card, my rent many time.
sometime I even did not know how to offer me a nice clothes or buy something to eat, so I talk to the immigration over and over and over... they never sent my I-94... so I apply in 2008 for a work permis and sacrify 340.00, they refuse my case saying that there is not evidence that I am an F-1 student ... so I lost my appartment again.
Than obama administration take place, so I try to renew my identification card or my Driver licence because its a headack to walk in America or take the bus! but they ask me a social security number! so I go to the Social security administartion they ask me my I-94, so finally in 2011, the immigration send me my I-94 but did not renew my 1-20 who can make me back to school! so my point is why? always country who ask us African to respect human right do not respect human roght in their won country! i saw a video in the story of an african where dog have a passport and a place to live and its the same thing in America, well many african are in the street because of the US immigration error! actually I am sleeping in one place to another! why? i did to live like this! this is was not my willing well I travel to america! now I apply for a Tax id # but they inform me that it will take 6 weeks, and you even do not know if they will give it to you.
I apply to protect my status and show evidence that if I fail in this situation its because of them ! but I sacrify myself and learn some certificat! but I lost 7 years of my life without nothing, I have a willing to marry , build a family, travel to visit my father and family for 7 years! I could not ! even go to university to get a bacchaulor degree! why! because of their express mistake! they violate theirs own laws and the most lie is that they even do not recognize or apologize for mistake that they make and allow you to go back !
If a legal person as me ! experienced this situation what about illegal immigrant! so where is the human right that they talking about and send militar to fight in Africa where we receive them with respect and allow them to work even to have more good standing than our own bothers! this is my story! and each part of it can be prove it by documents! so I am attempting to sue their US department of justice in an international court to had violated my rights and my human right to work as a free man well they are proud to call them country of freedom and free speach and where dream came true! thank you!
