In theory, undocumented migrants in Germany have access to state subsidies for medical care. But in practice it is hard for illegal migrants to have access to health care.

  • BKK provides information on health care for migrants
  • Mediburo in Berlin provides anonymous and free treatment for people without status and no health insurance by qualified medical personnel
  • The Malteser Medicine for Migrants is a project of the Catholic Malteser organization that offers medical counseling and treatment to undocumented migrants and other people without health insurance
  • Café 104 is based in Munich and provides access to medical services for undocumented migrants. They provide treatment without charge and anonymous to those in need. They also provide counseling about many other critical challenges faced by illegal immigrants. (English, French, German, Spanish)
  •  Arzte der Welt helps undocumented migrants to get acces to health care
  • Munich help for Aids is a regional HIV/AIDS help-centre
